About Us

Chicago Metro Chorus has a long history as a chapter of what is now known as the Barbershop Harmony Society. Our men sing songs from many eras in close four-part a cappella harmony, and we entertain appreciative audiences throughout the area.
We have a group of enthusiastic, hard working singers. We have a gifted and highly experienced leader in our director, Jarmela Speta. Jarmela is an award-winning chorus director, arranger, vocal instructor and friend to anyone with a passion for singing.
